How to Make Macarons








How to Make Macaroons!
Hey guys!
So this past weekend I had the BEST macarons from a little pastry shop downtown. I thought oh my gosh these are so good, why couldn't I make them! So I went and bought all the ingredients from my local Harris teeter and tried perfect my recipe. I looked a bunch of different recipes but I finally came up with this one that works perfectly for me!
{Macaron recipe}
                                                        Dry Mixture
                                                      1 Cup of Powdered Sugar
                                                 ¼ cup of Almond flour/ meal
                                                 ¾ cup of swans down sifted flour
                                                Meringue
                                                2 eggs
                                                ¼ cup of superfine sugar 
After you whip the meringue, you can add food coloring {make sure you add color only in the meringue!}Then take you dry mixture and fold it into your meringue, making sure everything is mixed together then pipe you batter onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Preheat the oven for 325 degrees and cook for 13 minutes.
