School Shopping Haul!

Hey everyone! 

This weekend I headed down to wilmington to do a little school shopping at the great stores they have! 

I scored each of these designer pants (Polo, Cynthia Rowley and Crown & Ivy) for less than $20 each! Belks was having a huge sale and totally took advantage of it!! 

I bought this amazing tank from J.Crew Factory in the clearance section for under $15, I'm super excited to wear this with white pants or shorts! 

I got this AHMAZING lilly pulitzer skirt for $36!!!!!! I didn't have anything in chin chin before so I thought this would be an excellent addition to my collection. 

The last thing I picked up while I was in Wilmington is this great pair of Sperry's, I've been looking for a pair like this for a while and I'm glad I finally tracked down a pair!

Fourth of July!

Hey everyone!

I hope ya'll had a fabulous fourth of July weekend! I spent mine with my family at the lake, so most of my weekend was spent in a bathing suit, but here is what I wore for the few hours I was dressed!

Room Makeover!

I'm so excited to show y'all my new room!

Summer Must Haves

Hey everyone! 

I haven't posted in a while but summer is here and I'm ready to go! 

These are my summer must haves, weather it's hanging out at home or heading to the beach, these things cover it all! 

1} Norts 

I live in running shorts during the summer! I just throw on a t-shirt and some jacks and your ready to go! My favorite right now is Krass & Co. They have the softest shorts in so many patterns! I love my "Sam" shorts (there an American flag!) and my sailors delight! (You may have seen them on Pinterest under "lilly pulitzer norts") these shorts are so versatile and go with everything! 2} beach bag 

Weather I'm headed to the beach or out for a day in the boat, I need something to carry all my stuff around! Right now I'm in love with my longchamp, I have 2, the large in grey and the small in brown. These bags can hold a whole weekends worth of clothing! 

3} Lifeproof 

My Lifeproof case is a lifesaver!!! I can't remember how many times I've accidentally dropped my phone while at the lake and being able to have my phone on the beach is great! 

4} bikinis 

Having a goo bikini is a must! I would recommend J.Crew and target, J.Crew has the best tops and patterns. Target is a little cheaper and has several more options than J.Crew. 

5} Jack Rogers 

I am in love with my jacks! I wear then everyday, with almost anything. I can throw them on with a t-shirt and shorts but I can also dress them up for a occasion with the family! I own the platinum pair, the green and white and also the chambray pair.

How to Make Macarons

How to Make Macaroons!

Hey guys!

So this past weekend I had the BEST macarons from a little pastry shop downtown. I thought oh my gosh these are so good, why couldn't I make them! So I went and bought all the ingredients from my local Harris teeter and tried perfect my recipe. I looked a bunch of different recipes but I finally came up with this one that works perfectly for me!

{Macaron recipe}

                                                        Dry Mixture

                                                      1 Cup of Powdered Sugar

                                                 ¼ cup of Almond flour/ meal

                                                 ¾ cup of swans down sifted flour

                                                Meringue

                                                2 eggs

                                                ¼ cup of superfine sugar 

After you whip the meringue, you can add food coloring {make sure you add color only in the meringue!}Then take you dry mixture and fold it into your meringue, making sure everything is mixed together then pipe you batter onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Preheat the oven for 325 degrees and cook for 13 minutes.

Marley Lily Vest Reveiw!

Hey guys!!! 

So for christmas I received two monogrammed Marley Lily vests, one in navy and one in black. I have literally worn these vests every day! They are so comfortable and just go with anything! My vests are so comfortable and as far as I can tell are incredibly durable, I wore them in the rain, snow and sleet and they held up perfectly!
